Step by step
- Click the gear ⚙ next to LIVE.
- Under “Internet networks”, turn on the switch for the networks the stream can use.
- In each destination, open “Edit” and choose the “Network” for 16:9 and 9:16, or leave it on “Automatic”.
Mac only, for now
Choosing networks currently works on Mac. On Windows, the stream goes out over the computer's regular internet connection.
What each network shows
Each network appears with its type (wired, Wi-Fi, cellular or other), the address, the state and the response time. The states are: unused, checking, ok, unstable, no bandwidth and down. The border turns green when it is ok and red when it is down.
Up to 4 networks in use
You can use up to 4 networks at the same time. To turn on a fifth, turn another one off first.
Each destination goes over one network
A destination goes entirely over a single network: networks do not add up bandwidth for the same live stream. With several networks, you split the destinations among them.
- Automatic: NWK spreads the streams across the networks in use.
- A chosen network: the destination goes over it. If it goes down, the destination switches to another on its own and comes back when it is stable again.
When a network goes down
If the network goes down or cannot keep up with the bitrate, the destination reconnects on its own over another one in 1 to 3 seconds. NWK shows a notice on screen when a network goes down and when it comes back. On the destination card, the network in use appears in yellow when it is not the one you chose.
