Step by step
- Click the gear ⚙ next to LIVE.
- Click “✓ Check before going live”.
- Wait a few seconds: NWK listens to the microphones for 3 seconds and tests the servers.
- Read the list and fix anything marked with ✕.
- Click “Check again” to see if everything is fine.
What gets checked
| Group | What it looks at |

| Inputs | Whether the picture from each camera, capture card or network source is coming in, and at the project frame rate. |
| Audio | Whether the microphones and interfaces had sound in the last 3 seconds. |
| Recording | Whether the folder exists and how much recording time fits on the disk. |
| Internet | The networks in use, the response time and the loss. |
| Destinations | Whether each destination that is on has a key and whether the server responds. |
How to read the result
- ✓: all good.
- !: warning. You can go live, but it is worth a look.
- ✕: a problem to fix before going live.
At the top, a summary says, for example, “All set to go live” or how many problems and warnings there are.
Nothing goes on air by itself
The check only looks and warns. The server test does not start the stream. The key is only really checked when the video starts going out.
Questions
I am already on air. Can I run the check?
Yes. In that case, NWK does not test the servers, so it does not disturb the stream.
It says “no sound in the last 3 seconds”. Is that a problem?
It is just a warning. The microphone may be off or nobody is talking. Speak into the microphone and click “Check again”.
