Step by step
- Click ＋ Add input, in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- Choose the input type in the menu.
- Choose the item, adjust what you need and click Add.
The menu types
| Menu item | What for |
|---|---|
| Video device (camera, capture card) | USB camera, webcam or capture card connected to the computer. |
| Audio device (microphone, interface) | Microphone or audio interface, with one or several channels. |
| Video | Video file (MP4, MOV, M4V). |
| Image | Photo, logo or artwork (PNG, JPG, HEIC, WEBP and others). |
| Audio (music, bumper) | Sound file (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC and others). |
| Title / lower third, Bible, Song lyrics, Templates, Sports scoreboard | Graphics and text on screen. |
| Schedule player | Daily playout grid. |
| Web page | A website or the YouTube chat as an image. |
| Generator (bars, solid color…) | Color bars, test signals and a single-color background. |
| NDI (local network source) | Camera or computer sending NDI® on the same network. |
| SRT (receive over network/internet) | Signal sent over SRT from somewhere else. |
| CALL (browser guest) | Participant who joins through a link, without installing anything. |
Drag files
You can also drag videos, images and audio files from a folder on the computer straight into the INPUTS panel. Each file becomes an input.
Where the new input appears
The input gets a number and a live thumbnail in the INPUTS panel. It also goes by itself to the tab for its type (Cameras, Videos, GC, Audio, Templates or Extras).
