NWK needs internet to open

When it opens

Every time it opens, NWK confirms the license over the internet. This applies to paid licenses and to the free trial. Without internet at that moment, the program doesn't open: it shows No internet to confirm the license and the Try again button. Connect the computer to the internet and click Try again.

Once it is open

With NWK open, a lack of internet never closes or locks the program. The license check keeps going in the background, without you doing anything. A stream or recording in progress is never cut because of the license.

Before an event with weak internet

Open NWK with internet, before the event.
Keep the program open during the event.
If you need to close it, only open it again when there is internet.

If the venue internet drops, you keep operating and recording. Streaming, of course, depends on the internet.

Computer clock

If the computer's date is behind, NWK tells you: The computer clock is behind. Fix the date and connect to the internet to confirm the license.

Questions

The internet dropped in the middle of the event. Will NWK stop?

No. Once open, NWK keeps working without internet, and the license never cuts a stream or recording in progress.
