Use NWK as a camera and microphone in Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet

Send the Program to a meeting: the sound through the virtual microphone and the picture through NDI®.

Step by step

  1. Click ⚙ Settings and open the “Zoom / Teams / Meet” tab.
  2. Under “Virtual microphone”, click “Install” and type the computer's administrator password.
  3. Choose what the microphone sends: Master (what goes on air) or an Output from A to E.
  4. For the picture, turn on the NDI® output in the “NDI” tab and open NDI Virtual Input, from NDI Tools.
  5. In Zoom, Teams or Meet, choose the “NWK Live Studio” microphone and the “NDI Video” camera.

Virtual microphone

Install it once. The computer's sound restarts for a few seconds during installation, so do not install it while on air. After that, Zoom, Teams and Meet see the “NWK Live Studio” microphone. The virtual microphone currently works on Mac.

Camera

The picture goes through the Program's NDI® output. Open NDI Virtual Input, from NDI Tools (free), and choose the name of the NWK output. In the meeting, the camera appears as “NDI Video”. The NDI Tools button in this tab opens the download page.

No echo for the participants

If you also bring the meeting's sound into NWK, do not send participants their own voices back. Use an Output (A to E) with “Master minus…” and check the meeting input so it does not come back. This is in Settings › Audio › Audio outputs.

Remove

To remove the virtual microphone, use the “Remove” button in the same tab.
