Audio enabled or disabled
Inputs with sound have a speaker button on the thumbnail:
- 🔊 Audio enabled: on Program, the sound turns on by itself in the mixer; off Program, it is muted. On Preview, you hear it in the headphones.
- 🔇 Audio disabled: the sound plays nowhere (not on Program, not on Preview, not in the headphones), even if you turn it on in the mixer.
The input's channel
Click the small arrow ▸ on the thumbnail to open its audio channel beside it, with:
- volume (double-click returns to 0 dB) and meter;
- ON / MUTE (or PGM, when it is muted until it goes to Program);
- S (solo): hear only this channel in the headphones, without affecting the stream;
- M and the outputs turned on: where the sound goes;
- AFV: audio follows video (on Program it is ON; off Program, MUTE);
- FX: gain, delay, EQ, gate, compressor, AGC, limiter and noise reduction.
To close it, click outside the channel, on the ✕, or press Esc.
Meter on the thumbnail
The small bar on the right of the thumbnail shows the input's sound level, even when the video is off air.
