Use the program's Getting started guide

The list that opens by itself the first few times and takes you to the right screens to prepare your first stream.

What it is

The first few times you open NWK, the Getting started window appears. It shows what is left for your first stream and how many steps you have done (for example, “2 of 5”). The guide does not put anything on air: it only opens the screens.

The steps

  1. Activate the license: with internet, fill in your name, email and mobile number and type the code from the email to start the free trial; if you bought it, paste the key.
  2. Program format: resolution and frame rate. In Brazil, the usual is 1080p at 29.97.
  3. First camera: USB camera, capture card, NDI®, SRT or a participant in the browser (CALL).
  4. Sound: where the Master goes out and your interface's channels in the mixer.
  5. Stream destination: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or another server.
  6. Operators in the browser (optional): someone else runs the sound, the Bible or the lyrics from another device.

How to use it

Click Open next to a step. That step's screen opens and, when you close it, the guide comes back. Completed steps get a ✓ and the button changes to Review. You can do them in any order.

Stop it from opening by itself

Check Don't open automatically again. To see the guide again, go to ⚙ Settings › About and click Open getting started.

Questions

Does the guide open during a stream?

No. It only opens by itself when you are not on air or recording.
