NWK saves the session by itself, every few seconds, while you work. When you close it and open it again, everything comes back as it was, even without saving the project. When closed normally, the program opens without going live by itself.
If the program closes unexpectedly
If NWK closes unexpectedly, it opens with the previous session and shows: The app didn't close properly: the previous session was restored.
With the recovery option on, the stream and the recording that were active come back by themselves. This option is in two places, which change the same thing:
- In the project menu: If the app closes unexpectedly, resume stream and recording on reopen.
- In ⚙ Settings › General › RECOVERY: If the system crashes, automatically resume the stream and recording that were active.
The option is on by default.
Questions
Do I need to save the project if the session comes back by itself?
Yes, if you want to keep the setup for another event or take it to another computer. The session keeps only the most recent state.
