Use presets as a starting point

Keep a ready-made setup, such as Church service or Podcast, and apply it when you start a similar event.

Step by step

  1. Set up the inputs and settings the way you want to keep them.
  2. Open the project menu (click the project name at the top of the window).
  3. Under “PRESETS”, type the name in the “New preset name” field.
  4. Click “Save current state as preset”.

What a preset is

A preset is a starting point, for example 2-camera interview, Church service or Podcast. Applying it does not change the preset: it stays the same for next time.

Applying a preset

In the project menu, click Apply next to the preset. The setup comes in as a project without a file: when you save, NWK asks for the name of the new project.

Organizing

  • Without a name, the preset gets the date and time.
  • The 🗑 button deletes the preset. It goes to the computer's trash and can still be recovered.
  • Open folder shows the presets folder on the computer.
