Build the mixer from the audio interface

Create a mixer channel for each input of your audio interface in one go, like on a sound desk.

Step by step

  1. Connect the audio interface to the computer.
  2. Click ⚙ Settings and open the Audio tab.
  3. Under AUDIO INTERFACES (INPUTS), find your interface.
  4. If it has many channels, choose the ones you use under Use.
  5. Click Build the mixer.
  6. The channels appear in the mixer's Mixing tab.

Choose the channels in use

The Use list appears on interfaces with more than 2 channels. Choose All channels or just a pair, like Only channels 1 and 2. Only the channels in use appear when you add an audio input, and only they become mixer channels.

After building

Each console channel shows at the top the interface name and the input the sound comes from. Now just adjust volume, EQ and effects.

If the interface is disconnected, the channel label turns red.

In the Advanced mixer

At the mixer's ＋, choose Desk channel and click Set up the whole interface.
