Find a book, chapter, verse or word

Find a verse by typing the book, chapter and number, by clicking in the list or by searching for a word. It goes into the service schedule.

Step by step

  1. In the “Book: Mt or Matthew” field, type the book's name or abbreviation and press Enter or Tab.
  2. In the “Ch.” field, type the chapter and press Enter or Tab.
  3. In the “Vs.” field, type the verse and press Enter. It goes into the schedule.

Quick way

  • Type the whole reference in the book field, like mt 12:25, and press Enter.
  • In the verse field, use a range, like 25-27.
  • Ctrl+Enter (⌘+Enter on Mac) adds it to the schedule and shows it on screen right away.
  • Esc clears the search and goes back to the book.

With the mouse

The box below the fields shows All books. Click the book, then the chapter, then the verse: it goes into the schedule.

Search by word

Type in the Search by word field. The list shows the results in the chosen version. Click a result to add it to the schedule.

Questions

A warning said the chapter does not exist.

The program tells you how many chapters the book has, or that the chapter does not have the verse you asked for. Check the number and type it again.
