Control NWK from Bitfocus Companion and other panels

Step by step

Click “⚡ Shortcuts and Triggers” and open the “Stream Deck” tab.
Turn on the “Bitfocus Companion and other panels” switch.
In Companion, add a connection with address 127.0.0.1 and port 8099.
Make sure “✓ Connected” appears on the card.

How it works

Buttons act on the first press, with no confirmation. NWK serves a single mixer (Mix 1).

What the card shows

Message	What it means
Ready on port 8099, waiting for the panel.	All good; the panel still has to connect.
✓ Connected: … connections on port 8099.	The panel is connected to NWK.
Port 8099 is in use…	Another production program open on this computer is using the port. Close it; NWK keeps trying on its own.
Off. No panel can connect.	The switch is off.

Panel on another computer

For security, only this computer can connect. To accept a panel on another computer on the network, turn on Accept other computers on the network and type the allowed addresses, separated by commas (example: 192.168.0.20, 192.168.0.21). Addresses not on the list cannot connect. On the panel, use this computer's network address and port 8099.

Check that it arrived

The Last command received line, at the bottom of the tab, shows the last command that arrived from a panel.

Questions

Can I use Companion and USB sync together?

Not with the same Stream Deck. If Companion is open and using the device, NWK warns you. Close one of the two.
