Step by step
- In ⚙ Settings › Operators, turn on “Local network”.
- Copy the “GC Bible” address and send it to the operator, with the PIN next to it.
- The operator opens the address, types the PIN and clicks “Enter”.
- They find the verse, for example “Jn 3:16”, and click “Put on air”.
Search
In the Search tab, the operator types the book, the chapter and the verse (for example 25 or 25-27), or searches for a word in the text. They can also click the book, the chapter and the verse.
The buttons
- Put on air: shows the verse on screen.
- ◀ Previous and Next ▶: move between verses.
- Reference only: shows only the reference, without the text.
- Take off air: takes the verse off the screen.
- + To schedule: saves the verse in a schedule, to use later in the order of service.
A notice shows the state: ON AIR, REFERENCE ON AIR or OFF AIR. If “READY · INPUT IS NOT ON PGM” appears, the verse is ready, but the Bible input is not on Program.
Schedules
In the Schedules tab, the operator builds lists of verses before the service. You can create, duplicate, delete, export and import schedules.
Shortcuts
Tab moves from book to chapter and verse. Enter adds to the schedule. Ctrl+Enter puts on air. Space puts on or takes off. The arrows change the verse.
No Bible input yet
If the project does not have a Bible input, the page says so and shows the Create the input button.
Import a Bible
The Import Bible… button accepts Zefania XML or text files. Only use a version your church has the right to use.
