# Start with a ready-made template

Pick a layout built for news, YouTube, podcasts, interviews, church, sports, education or corporate, and put your cameras in the slots.

## Step by step

1. In the bottom-left corner, click ＋ Add input.
2. Choose “Ready-made templates (News, YouTube, Church…)”.
3. Pick a tab and, if you want, filter by number of people.
4. Click the template. It becomes a new input and the template editor opens.
5. In each slot, choose the camera, CALL or media that will appear there.
6. Click Done.


## The tabs
The Ready-made templates window sorts the templates by topic: News, YouTube, Podcast, Interview, Church, Sports, Education and Corporate. Each template shows a thumbnail of how it looks.



## Filter by people
In People, choose All, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 or more. The list shows only the templates with that number of slots.



## After you choose
The template is an input like any other: use it in Preview, in Program, in overlays and in transitions. To change colors, background, text and style, see [Change a template's colors, background, text and style](https://nwkglobal.com/help/template-colors-text-and-style/).


## Questions

### Can I switch templates without losing what I chose?

Yes. In the editor, Style tab, click Change template…. What you already chose for the slots carries over to the new template.
