# Get to know Settings and the General tab

Where each setting is in Settings, and how to change the appearance (skin) and automatic recovery in the General tab.

## Step by step

1. Click “⚙ Settings” at the top of the window.
2. Choose the tab for the topic.


## The tabs

## Appearance
Under APPEARANCE, choose the skin:

- NWK: in the logo colors, midnight blue, keys that light up like real gear and metal faders.
- Classic: the usual look, with orange, green Preview and red Program.
The colors change instantly. The NWK font comes in fully when the window opens again.



## Recovery
Under RECOVERY, the option If the system crashes, automatically resume the stream and recording that were active makes NWK go back on air by itself after a crash. See more in [NWK reopens the way you left it](https://nwkglobal.com/help/session-reopens-as-you-left-it/).
