# Record each audio channel separately (multitrack)

The Multitrack button records each mixer channel to its own WAV file, to mix later.

## In short
Click “⏺ Multitrack” at the top of the window. Choose the folder, the quality (24-bit or 32-bit float), whether to record the raw or processed sound, and the channels. Then click “● Record multitrack”.

Each channel becomes a WAV file, all the same length and with the start time, so they open aligned in your audio editing program.
