# Install NWK on Mac

How to download, install and open NWK on a Mac with Apple Silicon for the first time.

## Step by step

1. Download the installer at nwkglobal.com/downloads.
2. Open the .dmg file and drag NWK to the Applications folder.
3. The first time, open System Settings › Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”.
4. Open NWK with internet, fill in your name, email and mobile number and type the code that arrives by email: the 7-day free trial starts right away.


## What you need
A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 14 or later.



## Camera and microphone permissions
The first time NWK uses a camera or a microphone, the Mac asks for permission. Click Allow. If you deny it by accident, allow it in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera (or Microphone).

### Does NWK run on a Mac with an Intel processor?

No. NWK is made for Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer).
