# Organize inputs in tabs

Colored tabs separate cameras, videos, graphics and audio. Create them, rename them and choose what goes in each one.

## Automatic tabs
The INPUTS panel starts with the Cameras, Videos, GC, Audio, Templates and Extras tabs. Each new input goes by itself to the tab for its type. The All tab shows everything. Each tab shows how many inputs it has.



## Create and edit
- Click ＋ to create a new tab. Up to 8 tabs fit.
- Double-clicking a tab opens editing: change the name and color and click Done.
- To delete the tab, use Delete tab in the same window. The inputs stay in the project.


## Add and remove inputs
To put an input in a tab, drag the thumbnail onto it. To remove it, open the tab, hover over the thumbnail and click −. The input stays in the project.



## Order inside the tab
Inside a tab, dragging one thumbnail onto another changes only that tab's order.


## Questions

### Can an input be in more than one tab?

Yes. Drag the thumbnail to each tab where it should appear.
