# Add music or a bumper (audio file)

How to add a song, bumper or sound effect as an input and control when it plays on air.

## Step by step

1. Click ＋ Add input › Audio (music, bumper)….
2. Choose one or more files and confirm.


## Supported formats
MP3, WAV, AIF, AIFF, M4A, AAC, CAF and FLAC. You can also drag the files straight into the INPUTS panel.



## Comes in without playing on air
The audio file comes in muted for air. In the thumbnail's audio, the button shows as PGM: muted until it goes to Program. Click it to change.



## Play, pause and loop
Use ▶ to play or pause and ⟳ to repeat, just like a video. The IN and OUT marks also work.
